52ND WIRTH M. MUNROE YACHT RACE

Mark your calendars! The 52nd Annual Wirth M. Munroe Fort Lauderdale to Palm Beach Yacht Race will be on Friday December 5th, 2008. Race Chairman Dr. Paul Gingras invites you to participate in this historic event whether you’re an expert or novice sailor. The Race Committee can also help you in chartering or finding a boat if you want to experience the race.

The Club will be hosting its Sailfish Ocean Challenge again this year on Saturday, December 6th which includes short races in the ocean just outside the inlet for IRC rated yachts.

Directions to the Lauderdale Yacht Club:

Take I-95 to I-595 East. Exit US1 North. Follow US1 North to 17th Street Causeway. Take a right on 17th Street Causeway. Make a left at the second light onto Cordova Road. Follow through the residential area and take a right onto SE 12th Street.
This will bring you into the Lauderdale Yacht Club.
